BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition on the dancing art over the past 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China is being held at the National Center for the Performing Arts.

Divided into eight sections, the exhibition shows the history, roots, spirit and other concepts concerning the country's dancing art over the decades, featuring items such as manuscripts, sketches and headwear, as well as high-tech methods.

Co-hosted by the China Dancers Association and the dancing art center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition will run until Oct. 7.
