BERLIN, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's Su Bingtian continued his powerful performance at the six-meeting IAAF World Indoor Tour, blazing 6.43s in the men's 60m on Tuesday at the PSD Bank Meeting Dusseldorf, the second stop of the tournament, to rewrite the Asian record twice in four days.

The 28-year-old Chinese sprinter had just refreshed the record in 6.47s in Karlsruhe on Saturday.

"Thank you," Su said in English after the race, adding "I enjoyed this party."

The Asian record holder built a visible lead after 20 meters, and kept it to the line in 6.43s, which made him the joint fifth fastest man in this distance.

Yunier Perez of Cuba and Michael Rodgers of America both clocked 6.52s and it took a careful review of the video playback to decide that the silver medal went to Perez.

Following are the top five records of the men's 60m:

1.Christian Coleman, United States, 6.37s, 2018

2.Maurice Greene, United States, 6.39, 1998

3.Andre Cason, United States, 6.41, 1992

4.Dwain Chambers, Britain, 6.42, 2009

5.Tim Harden, United States, 6.43, 1999

5.Su Bingtian, China, 6.43, 2018
