CHONGQING, June 25 (Xinhua) -- More than 200 motorcycles manufactured by Chongqing-based motorcycle maker ZXMOTO are being shipped to the European market, marking the most recent bulk export of the brand to Europe, according to Chongqing Customs in southwest China.

The batch of motorcycles departed from Chongqing's Guoyuan Port, sailed down the Yangtze River to Shanghai, and will be transferred to sea freight for final delivery to Poland.

Another 330 motorcycles from the brand bound for Spain are also scheduled for shipment in the near future, according to Huang Qin, head of the brand's foreign trade department.

"The customs clearance service at Guoyuan Port is highly convenient, especially the river-sea intermodal transport mode, which helps our products enter the global market more efficiently," said Huang.

The company previously focused on the Asian market, and its excellent performance in international motorcycle racing events has driven a rapid surge in European orders, Huang noted.

As a major automobile and motorcycle manufacturing hub in China, Chongqing produced around 7.86 million motorcycles in 2025, accounting for 35.5 percent of the country's total output. Official data shows that in the first five months of 2026, Chongqing's motorcycle exports reached 12.21 billion yuan (about 1.79 billion U.S. dollars), up 9.8 percent year on year. ■
