BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 50 km ENE of Noda, Japan at 2021 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 40.26 degrees north latitude and 142.38 degrees east longitude. ■
