BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 58 km south of Boca de Yuma, Dominican Republic, at 1606 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 71.3 km, was initially determined to be at 17.86 degrees north latitude and 68.54 degrees west longitude. ■
