GENEVA, April 29 (Xinhua) -- The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and JPMorganChase announced on Tuesday a Worldwide Olympic Partnership, making the firm the first global banking partner in Olympic history.

The partnership extends to the 2030 French Alps Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

IOC President Kirsty Coventry said, "JPMorganChase is the first Global Partner from the banking sector in Olympic history. This partnership reflects our shared values of ambition, excellence and trust, and will support the Olympic Movement and sport around the world."

JPMorganChase becomes a Worldwide Olympic Partner in the asset and wealth management and private banking, commercial and investment banking category. In the United States, it will also act as a founding partner of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games in the retail banking category.

The Olympic Partner (TOP) program is the highest level of Olympic sponsorship, granting exclusive global marketing rights to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Olympic teams around the world to a select group of global partners. With this addition, the IOC now has 13 TOP partners spanning 12 categories. ■
